  • The Student Activities Office (SAO) at Morton College serves the student body by providing opportunities, activities, programs, services and experiences that promote educational, cultural, recreational, social and personal growth.


    Student ID

    Students at Morton College are required to have a photo identification card to use certain facilities such as the Morton College Library and the Individual Learning Center. Your student ID will grant you access to campus events and activities as well as provide you with student discounted tickets and a student rate at the Morton College Fitness Center.

    How to Get Your ID
    Getting your Morton College Student ID is easy – all you need to do is present acceptable identification and have your picture taken. Remember - Keep your student ID with you at all times. Do not discard your student ID after the semester ends - you will need it throughout your time at Morton College.

    The Student Activities Office provides you with your first ID at no charge.

    Help! I’ve Lost My ID!
    All lost IDs can be replaced at the Student Activities Office for a $10 fee.

    Discount Tickets

    Purchase discounted tickets to various events such as sporting events, AMC movie theaters & Six Flags Great America.

    Student Union

    The union serves as a relaxing gathering place for students. The area is equipped with computers and a game room for your equipment.


    Panther Rewards Program (PRP)

    To recognize our involved students and provide opportunities for engagement on our campus, the Student Activities Office offers the Panther Rewards Program (PRP).

    What is PRP?

    A free student reward program to reward Panthers for their loyalty. Attend a variety of events and activities for your chance to win cool Morton College swag!

    How Does the Panther Rewards Program Work?

    Stamp. Earn. Win! 

    Attending any of the designated PRP events and activities earns you one stamp per event. You can redeem your PRP card for a prize once you’ve collected ten stamps. 

    What Prizes Can I Win?

    After collecting 10 stamps on your RPR card, you can redeem one of the following prizes:  

    • Morton College Mason Jar
    • Morton College Bookbag
    • Morton College Hoodie 

    Every semester we have brand new prizes!

    Pick-up a card in the Student Activities Office, Student Union 240C – 2nd floor, Building C.

    The SAO staff reserves the right to cross-reference attendance to all events and activities.

    Be sure you present your PRP card each time you attend SAO designated events and activities.

    Campus Events & Programs

    Participation in Student Activities enhances the overall educational experience of students through the development of exposure to, and participation in campus activities, leadership training, student government, clubs, organizations, and community service activities. Throughout the year we offer a variety of events including:

    • Regional & National Conferences

    Student Clubs & Organizations

    There are 17 active student clubs and organizations of different interests. Student groups provide opportunities for students to broaden their experiences, to develop leadership abilities, to provide a sense of responsibility, and to give service to the college community.

    Why get involved?
    You will meet and hang out with new people. Getting involved will help you explore lifelong or new found interests. You will develop leadership skills that you can utilize in and out of the classroom. Plus, it looks really good on your résumé!
